Scrappy Boy Stamps: Dance Like No One's Watching

It's just about six weeks until Valentine's Day, so now is the best time to get started on those projects. The stamp set that Scrappy Boy Stamps released in December called Cute Girls Dating is the perfect set for Valentine's cards and other projects. Today's card features a dancing couple that's having the time of their life! 

I colored the stamp using Copic markers:

Boy

Skin: E27, E25, E23, E13, E21

Cheeks: E95

Tongue: R22, R20

Hair: 100, T7, T5, T3

Red: R39, R37, R35, R32

Blue: B97, B95, B93, B91

White: T3, T1, 0

Girl

Skin: E18, E15, E13, E11, E21

Cheeks: E93

Tongue: R22, R20

Hair: E59, E57, E55, E51

Purple: V28, V25, V22, V20

I used the I Love Love background stencil using distress inks in shaded lilac and candied apple to create the bottom layer of the card. I used Scrappy Boy Stamps Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut out two triangles and then used the heart stamp from the set to create my own patterned paper. For one of the rectangles, I used distress ink in candied apple to cover the entire piece to match the bottom layer. I also cut out one larger rectangle piece of the I Love Love patterned paper to add as another layer.
