Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studios: Guinea Friends

It’s been a fun year being on Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studios’ inaugural design team designing and creating cards with her digital stamps. I want to thank Rachelle for giving me the opportunity to be part of the team. It has been a wonderful experience and it kept me quite busy during the COVID pandemic with the lock-down our state experienced. I am stepping down from this team to free up some time to work on some home projects.

I have one last Rachelle Anne Miller card to post today. I am using the adorable stamp called Guinea Friends. This stamp was inspired by Rachelle’s children as they have pet guinea pigs just like the ones on this card.

I made a clean and simple card to showcase the adorable stamp. I printed and colored the stamp using Copic markers to make this 5” x 5” card.

Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studios: Happy Bird-Day!

You can never have too many cute birthday cards in your stash. I try to make some that are age appropriate so I like to have some that are cute and whimsical for younger people. The card I'm sharing today is an adorable digital stamp from Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studios called Birthday Bird. These digital stamps come with the normal black lines and now comes in gray lines for a no-line coloring technique. This is my very first no-line coloring card! It's a little harder to color, but I like the results.

Don't forget to enter our monthly challenge to win some digital stamps!

First I imported the digital stamp into my Silhouette Studio software. I also imported the flag banner. This was a colored clip art. I sized the images to fit onto an A2 size card then printed it out. I used a double stitch rectangular die from Gina Marie Designs to cut it out. I used Copic markers to color the digital stamp.

Copic Colors used:

Blue (Bird, Ribbon, Bow): BG05, BG02, BG01, BG000
Coral (Bird, Mouse ear & nose, hearts): R22, R21, R20, R01
Yellow (Present): Y38, Y35, Y11
Gray (Mouse): W6, W4, W2, W0
Brown (Bear): E33, E53, E51

Next I used a Molotow masking liquid pen to mask the bird and mouse feet so that I can add some grass. I used a grass stencil from Stamp Anniething and used Oxide Inks in Mowed Lawn and Lucky Clover to ink the grass. To finish the card, I cut an A2 size scalloped edge panel and a black cardstock mat for the card front. I adhered this onto a card base that is 1/4" smaller all the way around so that the scalloped edges stick out. I adhered all the layers with liquid glue.

Thank you for visiting and I hope you liked my first no-line card project! Have a very creative week!

Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studios: Bear's Wagon Ride

When was the last time you sent a card to your bestie just because she is an awesome friend? I know for me, I don't send them enough! I made this card with the perfect digital stamp from Rachelle Anne Miller called Bear's Wagon Ride. This stamp can be used for many different occasions, such a birthday, welcome baby, friendship, hello, and more!

Don't forget to enter our monthly challenge to win some digital stamps!

I just love digital stamps. You can make them any size you want. I decided to make mine big enough for an A6 size (4-1/2"x6-1/4") card. This size makes it easier to color and to ink a background. First I printed the stamp and colored it with Copic markers. Colors are listed below.

Copic markers used:
Bear fur: E33, E53, E51, E50
Blue: B97, B95, B93, B91
Green: YG17, YG13, YG11
Yellow-orange: YR15, YR14, YR12, YR01
Red: RV34, RV11, RV00

After coloring the stamp, I printed another stamp using masking paper so that I could mask off the stamp to do some ink blending for the background. I used Distress Oxide Ink in Mowed Lawn for the grass. I used the Cloud Builder Stencil from Stamp Anniething and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink for the sky.

I matted the card front using light blue cardstock from my stash. Then I added a plaid mat underneath it. The plaid paper is from Stamp Anniething. I created the sentiment in MS-Word, printed, then trimmed it to size and adhered it to the card to complete the card.

This is such a fun stamp to color and the card is very easy to make. Thank you for stopping by and have a creative and colorful week!

Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studios: Dream Big Circus

When my daughter was little, she had a lot of stuffed animals. She would pretend that she was either a veterinarian or a circus ring leader. This adorable digital stamp from Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studios, called Dream Big Circus, reminds me so much of my daughter.

For this A2 sized top-folding card, I printed the stamp and then used a scallop die from Gina Marie Designs to cut it out. I then colored it using Copic markers. Colors are listed below.

Copic markers used:

Skin: R42, E11, E21, E00, E000
Cheeks: E93
Hair: E39, YR24, YR23, YR20
Pink: RV66, RV55, RV52
Yellow: Y38, Y17, Y15, Y13, Y11
Lion: YR27, YR24, YR23, YR21
Blue: BG78, BG49, BG57, BG45, B01, BG000
Ground: T3, T2, T1, T0

I used a tent die set from Stamp Anniething called Under the Big Top to create the circus tent. I printed the sentiment and used a paper trimmer to cut it. I made yellow and teal colored banner mats, cut them in half and put it behind the sentiment.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a very creative day!

Owls are symbols of wisdom, knowledge, protection, change, and transformation.  Owls are very common where I live (Northern California). Behind my house is a nursing facility where there are many palm and redwood trees. The owls like to nest in these trees so I hear and see them quite often. The baby owls are quite cute, just like these two from Rachelle Anne Miller's digital stamp called Owl Be Your Friend. Aren't they just adorable and perfect for a Valentine's Day card?

There is still time to enter the monthly challenge over at the Rachelle Anne Miller Digital Stamps fan page. All entries must be submitted by January 28. Join us and you may win a free stamp! Click here for all the details: Monthly Challenge.

My friends and family know that I love elephants. I don't go hog wild collecting them, but I do have about a dozen in my house. I like the elephants with the trunk pointing up, because it represents and dispenses luck, energy, prosperity, and kindness. I guess it's a good idea to have both in the house. Today's card features Rachelle Anne Miller's digital stamp, Elephant Adventure. Such a cute stamp to put on a birthday, friendship, hello, bon voyage or note card! It's also perfect to add in your scrapbook and journal pages.
