Conie Fong Art & Design: Happy Winter Box Card

Happy New Year and Happy Winter! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season. We had some pretty crazy weather here in Northern California. On New Year's Eve, we had a rain and wind storm that knocked out power. We were lucky that ours was only down for a little over an hour. I was able to light some candles for some light to make this Happy Winter card using one of the digital stamps from the Snowman Snow Globe Bundle from Conie Fong Art & Design. This cute winter stamp is also great for Christmas, winter birthdays, friendship, and more!

Conie Fong Art & Design: Believe in Yourself

I'm taking a break from holiday cards to make a special card for a young friend that is going through some confidence issues. We all have friends and family that need a little confidence boost from time to time. Believing in yourself means having faith in your own capabilities. It means believing that you CAN do something; that it is within your ability. This digital stamp called Bella Rose from Conie Fong Art & Design is perfect for my card. Her favorite color is purple so I had to color everything in purple!

I printed the digital stamp 3" tall and colored it with Copic markers.

I used a double stitched rectangular die to cut the front panel. I used a stamp positioner to add the sentiment. The sentiment is from Altenew's stamp set called Build-a-Flower Chrysanthemum. I then added a black mat, then a purple mat, and then adhered it to a top-folding A2 card base. To finish the card, I added a few purple rhinestones.

A beautiful stamp to color and can be used for many occasions.

It's been quite some time since I've used my Prismacolor colored pencils as I have been using my Copic alcohol markers. Conie Fong Art & Design: Pumpkin Gnome Sending Pumpkin Wishes

It's still not feeling too much like fall weather with temperatures that were 100+ degrees the past 7 days here in Northern California, but I a cooling trend is starting today! I am getting into the fall mood seeing all the Halloween candy, decorations, and fall things in the stores. It's a reminder that I needed to start my fall cards. Today I am sharing a card I made using two of Conie Fong Art and Design's digital stamps. The first one is the adorable Pumpkin Gnome and the second one are pumpkins from the Sunflower Pumpkin Bundle.

I used a 3D box die to make this card. This is the reason I love digital stamps, so that I can print them to fit this card.

Conie Fong Art & Design: Let Your Dreams Take Flight

It's that time of the year where we all need some graduation cards. I decided to make a non-traditional card for a young lady graduating from high school. I used this beautiful digital stamp from Conie Fong Art & Design called Butterfly Princess. This stamp reminded me of this graduate when she was a five year old wearing butterfly wings one Halloween. It's a beautiful stamp that can be used for just about any occasion, including birthday, friendship, and sympathy. All you need to do is change the sentiment. 

To make this A2 card, I kept it simple to showcase the stamp. I printed the stamp onto the paper ensuring I had enough room at the top to stamp a sentiment. If you have a digital sentiment, you can add it at this time. I wanted to use a physical stamp for this card. 

After I printed the stamp, I used a A2 double-stitched rectangle die to cut it out the colored it with Copic markers.

Red is for love and romance, yellow is for happiness and joy, pink is for adoration and admiration, and orange is for joy and sunshine. Since I love the colors of pink and yellow together, I colored the daisies in this Conie Fong Art & Design digital stamp called Daisy Bunny Bouquet in those colors. This adorable stamp can be used for many occasions. All you need to do is change the sentiment. This is a must stamp to have for your stash!

After coloring the stamp, I used a scalloped die from Scrappy Boy Stamps to cut out the front panel of the card, which included the sentiment. I matted it with striped patterned paper from the Echo Park - Bontanical Garden Paper Pad. I then adhered it to a top folding A2 white card base. 

To finish the card, I added a few enamel dots from Gina Marie Designs.

To make this A2 card, I printed the stamp 2-1/2" tall on white cardstock, leaving enough space to use my 3-3/8" stitched circle die to cut it out. Then I colored it with Copic markers.

I used several different papers from Stamp Anniething's Welcome Spring paper pack and used two of the A2 Stitched Scalloped Edge Dies from Scrappy Boy Stamps to cut them. The plaid piece that looks like a ribbon was trimmed with a paper trimmer then I fish tailed the bottom.

I printed the sentiment and trimmed it and also added a fish tail. I then inked the edges of the sentiment and the circle/stamp with Oxide Ink in Stormy Sky. I adhered all the layers using liquid glue except for the sentiment and the circle/stamp, where I used double-sided adhesive foam tape and the card was finished.
