Instructions:
- Cut a piece of Grafix Shrink Film to fit the stamp with 1/4" clearance all around the stamp.
- Using the 300 grit sand paper, lightly sand ONE side of the film. It has to be rough so that you are able to stamp and color on it.
- Stamp the image on the film using StazOn or any black ink made to stamp on plastic. Ensure it is completely dry.
- Color the image using Prismacolor pencils. Colors are listed above.
- Start by cutting an area above the bow where a hole will be punched to add a jump ring. Then cut around the image, not on the black stamped lines, but a little wider. Don't cut in between the legs. Leaving the legs together will lessen the chance of breakage.
- Using a 1/8" hole punch, punch the hole for the charm.
- Instead of baking the film, I used a heat gun to shrink the film. I put it on a Teflon craft mat, held it down with a wooden chopstick, then used the heat gun to shrink it. It will curl when it starts shrinking, but will flatten out after it is done shrinking.
- The film shrinks to about 20% of the original size.
- Attach a jump ring to the charm and add it to your favorite key chain or charm bracelet!
