Woodblock Wednesday Challenge: Have a Magical Day

I'm participating in this month's Woodblock Wednesday run by Amy Tsuruta, where you make a card using rubber stamps that are mounted on wood instead of the clear polymer stamps mounted on an acrylic block or stamp platform. The rules are quite simple and prizes are given out so I thought I'd give it a try. The rules are:
  • newly created project
  • use a woodblock stamp as the focal point
  • Please use the hashtags: #Woodblockwednesday #woodblockstamps
Products used:
  • Hula Girl and Hula Boy stamps from JudiKins
  • Island Paradise Paper from Sonoran Desert Crafts
  • Stitched Circle Die from Scrappy Boy Stamps
Supplies used:
  • A6 white card base
  • Black cardstock
  • White cardstock
  • Transparent vellum

Copic markers used for stamps:

Hula Boy:
  • Skin: E04, E11, E21, E00, E000
  • Hair: N9, N7, N5, N3
  • Leaves: G28, YG23
  • Shorts: BG49, BG45, BG32
Hula Girl:
  • Skin: E04, E11, E21, E00, E000
  • Hair: N9, N7, N5, N3
  • Skirt (green): G28, YG23 (pink) RV19, RV17, RV13

I typed the sentiment on my computer using Microsoft Word.

This is a very easy card to make, especially when using the beautiful paper with the scene. Give this card a try!

Thank you for visiting. Have a creative day!
