Scrappy Boy Stamps: October Sneak Peeks

It's sneak peeks time at Scrappy Boy Stamps! I have quite a few projects to share this month using the amazing stamps, dies, papers, and stencils. Scrappy has a very large release for October and there won't be one for November. Here is what is in this month's release (listed below). Project 1: Queen of Snow - Sending Warm Hugs Card


Scrappy Boy Stamps products used:
  • Queen of Snow stamps and dies
  • Snowflake Mini Album Die
Supplies used:
  • White cardstock
  • White glitter cardstock
  • Teal green glitter cardstock
  • Teal green flat back pearls

Prismacolor Colored Pencils used:
  • Dark Blue (mouth): 1027, 904, 1023
  • Orange: 922, 918
  • Black: 935, 1063
  • Light Blue (shadows): 904, 1023
Notes:
  • To cut out the card base, use the largest die from the Snowflake die set and place it slightly over the crease of a top folding white 6x6 card base. Run through die cut machine so the die doesn’t cut the top of the crease.
  • Cut out the remainder of the Snowflake as shown.
  • Adhere all the layers, stamps, and sentiment.
Project 2: Queen of Snow Gift Card Tag

    • Gift Card Tag die 
    Supplies used:
    • Pink cardstock for butterflies and back panel
    • Pink ribbon and twine

    Prismacolor pencils used:
    • Skin: 943, 939, 927
    • Cheeks: 929
    • Lips: 924
    • Eyes: 903
    • Hair: 949, 944, 1084
    • Light blue: 903, 919, 1023
    • Dark blue: 901, 902, 904
    • Pink: 995, 994, 929

    Notes:
    • Select one of the double-sided patterned papers from the Queen of Snow paper pack to cut out the Gift Card Tag Die. Assemble as shown.
    • Tie ribbon as shown.
    Project 3: Cute Girls Shopping Bag

    • 3D Shopping Bag Die
    Supplies used:
    • Kraft cardstock to die cut 3D Shopping Bag
    • Brown cardstock to cut out mat/panel behind patterned paper
    • Ribbon for handles and strip on top of bag (strip is optional)

    Copic markers used:
    • Skin: E04, E11, E21, E00, E000
    • Cheeks: R20
    • Tongue: R20
    • Hair: E59, E57, E55, E53
    • Black: N7, N5, N3, N1
    • Pink: RV17, RV14, RV13
    • Blue: B97, B95, B93, B91
    • Brown: E57, E55, E53
    • Green: YG67, YG45, YG63

    Notes:
    • Die cut the 3D Shopping Bag using the Kraft cardstock and patterned paper as shown on the back of the package.
    • Assemble pieces and adhere as shown.
    • Adhere the colored stamp.
    • Adhere the ribbon strip (optional).
    • Tie on the ribbon handles.
    Project 4: Blondie's Adventures - Have the Best Day Ever

    Supplies used:
    • A2 white card base with side fold on the 4.25" side
    • Black cardstock mat/panel
    • Gold cardstock panel 4-3/8" x 3-1/8"

    Notes:
    • Inside: Die cut the Gift Card Pocket Die using the Blondie's Adventures patterned paper. Adhere as shown to the inside left flap of the card.
    • Outside: Cut the black cardstock panel leaving a 1/8" border and adhere to the card base. 
    • Cut the patterned paper leaving a 1/8" border and adhere to the black cardstock panel.
    • Cut the gold cardstock and adhere on top of the patterned paper.
    • Adhere the colored stamps and sentiment as shown.
    Project 5: Let Your Hair Down - I'd Scale A Tower For You


    Scrappy Boy Stamps products used:
    • Once Upon a Time Series: Let Your Hair Down stamps & dies
    • Clouds, Sun, Lightning Bolt Dies
    • Stitched Rectangle Die
    Supplies used:
    • White A6 cardstock
    • Black cardstock mat/panel
    • Brown cardstock mat/panel
    • White Bristol cardstock
    • White cardstock for clouds
    • Yellow cardstock for sun
    • Distress inks in salty ocean, dusty concord, gathered twigs

    Copic markers used:

    Rapunzel
    • Skin: E11, E21, E00
    • Cheeks: R20
    • Lips: R22
    • Hair: E39, YR24, YR21, Y21
    House
    • Purple: V28, V25, V22, V20
    • Gray: W6, W4, W2
    • Brown: E57, E55, E53
    • Green: YG17, YG13, YG11, YG01
    • Orange: YR16
    • Pink: RV17, RV11
    Notes:
    • Cut the black cardstock panel leaving a 1/8" border and adhere to the card base.
    • Cut the brown cardstock panel leaving a 1/8" border and adhere to the black cardstock panel.
    • Using the Bristol cardstock, use the Distress Inks to ink the card as shown. Sprinkle water to create splatters and pat dry. Cut leaving a 1/8" border and adhere to the brown cardstock panel.
    • Die cut the clouds and sun and adhere as shown.
    • Adhere the colored stamps and sentiment as shown.
