Scrappy Boy Stamps: Let's Have Some Fun with the September Release

It's finally starting to feel like the fall season here in Northern California. The days are getting shorter and getting dark earlier, which keeps me inside the craft room longer! Yay! I have two fun cards to share today using Scrappy Boy Stamps products. The first card uses the stamps and dies from the New Yorkers and the second card from Cute Kids Military. Project 1: To My Best Friend In The Cosmos


Scrappy Boy Stamps products used:
  • New Yorkers stamps and outline dies
  • New Yorkers Paper Pack
  • New York City Scape Die
  • Stitched Rectangle Dies
Supplies used:
  • A2 white card base
  • White Bristol cardstock for ink smooshing
  • Black cardstock mat/panel
  • Black cardstock for New York City Scape
  • Distress inks in Blueprint Sketch, Dusty Concord, Wild Honey

Copic markers used:
  • Skin: E04, E11, E21, E00, E000
  • Cheeks: E93
  • Hair: E49, E47, E44, E42
  • Gray: N5, N3, N1
  • Brown: E37, E35, E33
  • Orange: YR18, YR14, YR12
  • White: N3, N1
Notes/Tips:
  • Ink smoosh using the Bristol cardstock and the Distress Inks listed above
  • Die cut the New Your City Scape, trim, and assemble and adhere as shown.
  • Adhere the rest of the pieces as shown.

Project 2: Forever Grateful

  • A6 white card base
  • Green cardstock mat/panel
  • Black cardstock circle mats

Copic markers used:

Man 1
  • Skin: E27, E25, E23, E13
  • Dark blue: B39, B37, B34
  • Light blue: B29, B28, B26, B24
  • Black: N7, N5, N3
Woman
  • Skin: E27, E25, E23, E13
  • Cheeks and Tongue: R32
  • Hair: T7, T5, T3
  • Brown: E47, E44, E43
  • Yellow: Y17, Y15, Y11
  • Green: BG99, BG96, BG93
  • White: N3, N1, 0
Man 2
  • Skin: E04, E11, E21, E00, E000
  • Cheeks & tongue: E93

  • Black: C9, C7, C5, C3
Note/tips:
  • Use the 2-1/4" die to cut the patterned paper. Use the next biggest die to cut the black cardstock.
  • Adhere all the pieces as shown.
