Stamp Anniething May New Release - Day 3: Gigi - You Aced It

Welcome to Day 3 and the final day of May new releases. Today's card features the cute stamp called, "Gigi - You Aced It," and an arrow die cut stenciled with the arrow stencil. This month's theme, Sports, brings you three stamps that are versatile and can be used for many occasions. All you need to do is change the sentiment or eliminate the sentiment for a nice note card.

Stamp Anniething Supplies used:
To make this A6 size card, I first stamped and colored Gigi using Spectrum Noir Illustrator and Tri-Blend markers, then cut her out using the coordinating outline die.

Spectrum Noir Illustrator and Tri-Blend Markers Used:

Skin: AP3, FS8, FS7, FS6, FS9
Cheeks: FS1
Tongue: PP5, PP2
Hair: EB4, EB2, TN3, B01
Violet: LV3, Pink Violet Tri-Blend (PV4, PV3, PV1)
Tennis Racquet Handle: IG6, IG2
Tennis Racquet Head & Tennis Ball: GY3, GY2, GY1

I cut out a black mat and a white mat for this card. I used a embossing folder to emboss the white mat. I cut out a circle using the Shaker Basics Set 1 circle die to be placed under Gigi.

To create the tennis net, I used white pigment ink and the Burlap Fabric stencil and stenciled on black cardstock. I trimmed it to fit the card.

Next, I used the Arrows Stencil and Distress ink in Black Soot to stencil the image on white cardstock. Then I used one of the Arrow Dies to cut it out to use for my sentiment. I stamped the sentiment on white cardstock using Distress Ink in Seedless Preserves and cut it out using an oval punch. I cut a mat for it using a scallop oval punch out of black cardstock.  I then adhered the sentiment onto the arrow die cut.

I adhered all the layers using liquid glue as shown below, except for Gigi. She is adhered using double-sided foam tape. To finish the card, I added a few jelly dots.

Thank you for visiting today and I hope you enjoyed this month's new releases. It a wonderful set of stamps, dies, and a stencil that is so versatile. Great for cards, scrapbooking, and treat boxes!

Have a creative week!

  1. Love the purple. Your layers for giving it depth is great. Your shading on her skin and hair is great.
