Stamp Anniething Design Team Day: Have a Magical Day

Back in August, a crafty friend had given me an Amazon gift certificate for my birthday. I wanted to get something that I've always wanted, which is a gel printing plate. This craft tool is so fun to use to make some interesting backgrounds for  cards. I experimented using different mediums, which included acrylic paints, gesso, distress inks, and distress oxide inks. This background is the result of using distress oxide inks. I made a bunch of backgrounds and found this one to be perfect for my card using the Stamp Anniething mermaid stamp, Calliope - You are Strange and Wonderful. This stamp also has a coordinating outline die so you don't have to fussy cut!
