Welcome to Day 3, the final day, of Stamp Anniething's July Sneak Peeks! Today's card features the cute stamp, called Josh - Miss You Pig Time. He is my favorite from this month's release, because I love cute pigs. I also used the new Down on the Farm Stencil and the Home Word Die to design this card. I made this card for a friend who just purchased a home out in the country.
All products are available in the Stamp Anniething webstore.
To make this slimline card, I first stamped the images, colored them with Copic markers, then cut them out with the coordinating die, except for the fence. The fence is fussy cut since there is no die.
Copic markers used:
Josh
Skin: E15, E13, E11, E21
Cheeks: RV42
Tongue: R22, R20
Pink: C3, RV34, RV11, RV52, RV00
Brown: E57, E55,E53
Fence: E39, E35, E31, YG11
To create the background, I cut a piece of white cardstock at 7-7/8"W x 3-1/4"H. I inked this cardstock using Stamp Anniething Hybrid Ink starting at the bottom of the cardstock.
Green: Bamboo, Parakeet, Willow Bough
Pink: Rosie Cheeks, Blossom
Blue: Celestrial
I then inked the Down on the Farm Stencil using Hybrid Ink in Obsidian.
I cut out the Home Word Die background out of black cardstock. I then used a piece of patterned paper from the Farm Life Paper Pad to cut out the word Home and a different one for the hearts.
I stamped and colored three of the fences so that it would go across the entire card. I adhered them with Stamp Anniething liquid glue (Glue Tube). I adhered the Home sentiment with liquid glue as well. I adhered Josh with double-sided adhesive foam tape. To finish the card, I adhered it to a Stamp Anniething slimline card base.
Such a cute and fun card to make! You can change the sentiment and make a birthday, hello, get well, or any occasion you need! I hope you liked this month's release. It's definitely one of my favorites! Thank you for stopping by and have a creative day!
