Scrappy Boy Stamps Sneak Peek 1: Love You to the Moon and Back

It's November sneak peek time at Scrappy Boy Stamps! It's a cute and fun manga/anime stamp set named Warrior Princess! This set comes with 11 image stamps and 4 sentiment stamps to create some fabulous projects. Coordinating outline dies are available, as well as two different stencils and beautiful patterned papers! I colored the images using Prismacolor pencils, which I haven't used in a long time! I really enjoy using these pencils, but it does take a little longer to color than using Copic alcohol markers. This new release will be available on Friday, November 18, 2022.

Don’t forget to shop past releases during our Better Than Black Friday/Moving Sale from November 18 -21. Time to stock up!

Time to showcase the Warrior Princess!

Scrappy Boy products used:
  • Warrior Princess stamps and outline dies
  • Warrior Princess Scene Builder Stencil

  • A2 Stitched Rectangular Dies
Other supplies used:
  • For stenciled background: Distress inks in spun sugar, peeled paint, shaded lilac, peacock feathers, worn lipstick.
  • For the moon: Transparent texture paste and yellow glitter

I stamped the images, colored them with Prismacolor pencils, then cut them out using the coordinated outline dies.

Prismacolor pencils used:

I first stenciled the background using the Warrior Princess Scene Builder Stencil and Distress Inks. Then I used transparent texture paste mixed with yellow glitter to create the moon. To create the moon, I created my own stencil by using a large circle die and tracing half of it on Bristol cardstock. I then moved the stencil so that it looks like a crescent and traced it then fussy cut it.

The card front and white mat are cut with the A2 Stitched Rectangular Dies. The patterned paper is cut with a paper trimmer to fit a A6 card.

I hope you like today's sneak peek! Such a fun set to color and make projects! More projects to come using this set in the weeks to come. Have a wonderful and creative week!
