I just had to make a slimline card to show off the amazing "Roses 4 Piece Layered Stencil Set." Each of the 4 layers of the stencil are numbered so you will know the order to ink. Always start with inking the roses using your lightest color. I used Distress inks in Shabby Shutters (leaves), Milled Lavender, Seedless Preserves, and Dusty Concord. I inked this using Bristol paper so that I can add some water and paint specks. I used acrylic paint in plum and white.
The size of the card base is 3.5"W x 8.5"H. I used one of the Scrappy Boy Stamps nesting Slimline Scalloped Edge Dies to cut out lavender cardstock to mat the card base. Then I trimmed the stenciled roses piece to fit on top.
I placed the colored stamps on lavender cardstock that I cut using a Gina Marie Designs oval stitched scallop die. I mounted this onto the card with double sided foam adhesive. I stamped the sentiment and cut it out using one of the nesting Stitched Rectangle Dies and mounted it using the double sided foam adhesive. I finished the card by adding a few lavender colored pearl rhinestones from my stash.

I first used one of the nesting Scrappy Boy Stamps Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut a black cardstock mat and adhered it to a top-folding A2 card base. I then used one of the nesting Scrappy Boy Stamps Stitched Scalloped Dies to cut one of the patterned papers from the I Love Reading Paper Pack and adhered this over the black cardstock.
I used a retired CC Designs In & Out Scalloped Circle Die to cut out the circle frame. I adhered vellum in the center then cut off an inch and adhered them on the opposite sides of the card. I then used double sided foam tape and adhered the Cute Girl onto the bigger circle.
I stamped the sentiment and used one of the nesting Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut it out and adhered it to the card front. I added a few pearl rhinestones from my stash to finish the card.
Thank you for visiting today. I hope you give this card a try. The stencil is so fun to play with! Have a creative day!
