Scrappy Boy Stamps: July 2023 Sneak Peeks!

It's time for Scrappy Boy Stamps' July 2023 sneak peeks! This month's two stamp sets are so fun and amazing! The first card is from the set called The Greatest Show, inspired by everyone's favorite circus story, and the second card is from Cute Girls Plant Lovers, perfect for all the green thumbs in your life! Please scroll down to see both cards.

This month's new release will be available on Friday, July 21, 2023 in the Scrappy Boy Stamps webstore.

Card 1:  You are the Greatest! Be You!

Scrappy Boy Stamps products used:
  • The Greatest Show stamps & outline dies
  • The Greatest Show paper pack
  • Sunburst Background Stencil
  • Burlesque Stage Stencil (curtains)

I stamped the images, colored them with Copic markers, and cut them out with the coordinating outline dies. I used the following Copic marker colors:

Bearded Lady
Skin: E04, E11, E21, E00
Cheeks: R20
Lips: R29
Hair: E59, E57, E55, E53

Blue: B39, B37, B34, B32

Ringmaster
Skin: E27, E25, E23, E13, E21

Wolf Boy
Skin: E15, E13, E11, E21
Hair: E49, E47, E44, E43
Black: N9, N7, N5, N3

For this A2 card, I first used the Sunburst Background Stencil and inked Bristol paper using Distress Inks in Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot. I think flicked some white matte acrylic paint on top.

I cut out a strip of black cardstock for the stage floor.

I then used the Burlesque Stage Stencil and traced the curtains onto The Greatest Show patterned paper. I then hand cut them out. I assembled and adhered the stage as shown.

I adhered the Bearded Lady and the Wolf Boy flat on the card and used double-sided adhesive foam tape for the Ringmaster. I stamped the sentiment and adhered it to the card with double-sided adhesive foam tape.

Card 2: So, here's the Dirt...

Scrappy Boy Stamps products used:
  • Cute Girls Plant Lovers stamps & outline dies
  • Cute Girls I Love Plants paper pack
  • Torn Stitched Tag Die (Early sneak peek! This is new and will be released in August!!)

I stamped the images, colored them with Copic markers, and cut them out with the coordinating outline dies. I used the following Copic marker colors:

Skin: E04, E13, E11, E21,E00
Cheeks: E93
Tongue:E20
Hair: YR27, YR23,Y26, Y23
Apron: BG78, BG75, BG72

Green: G28, G09, G14, YR03
Plant with pink: G14, YR03, RV21

For this A2 card, I first cut the Torn Stitched Tag using Bristol cardstock. I ink smooshed it with Distress Inks in Iced Spruce and Salvaged Patina. This new amazing die will be released in August.

I stamped the partial sentiment on the tag, then adhered the colored images onto the card. I adhered teal colored cardstock as the first layer of my card, the adhered patterned paper from the I Love Plants paper pack. I adhered the tag onto the card using double-sided adhesive foam tape. I added a few enamel dots and ribbon to the tag.

I added an additional white cardstock panel to the inside of the card to add some additional weight. I then stamped the "You are Amazing" sentiment to this panel. To finish the card, I cut out some hearts using scraps that were left over after cutting out the tag.

Thank you for visiting today! The design team will be sharing some awesome projects this month!

Have a wonderful and creative day!
