Stamp Anniething Sneak Peek Day 3: Prince-Let's Go Crazy

Welcome to Day 3 and the final day of Stamp Anniething's sneak peeks! It's been such a fun release to create projects with my three favorite iconic musicians! Today's celebrity is my favorite stamp, Prince-Let's Go Crazy! I got to go see Prince in concert in 1985 in San Francisco. I still remember to this day how great the show was. I am VERY excited for this release! I had to put Prince on a shaker card using the new A2 Shaker Pouches.

The entire new release is available at the Stamp Anniething webstore.

Stamp Anniething products used:
  • Prince-Let's Go Crazy! stamp and outline die
  • A2 Shaker Pouches
  • Retro Triangle Stencil
  • Annie's Alphabet Dies
  • Card Mat Dies
  • Swirly Twirlies Adornments
  • Itty Bitty Beads
Other supplies used:
  • Alcohol inks in various colors (purple, violet, blue, black, silver)
  • Yupo paper
  • Distress Inks in Shaded Lilac, Dusty Concord, Seedless Preserves, Wilted Violet
  • Black Embossing Powder

Copic markers used to color the stamp:
  • Skin: E57, E25, E23, E13
  • Cheeks and tongue: R22, R20
  • Hair: BV29, BV25, BV23, BV11
  • White: N3, N1, 0
  • Black: C7, C5, C3
  • Purple: V17, V15, V12

I first created the background using Yupo paper and alcohol inks. I let this dry overnight. I wanted to make sure it was completely dry since this is a shaker card. I then used Annie's Alphabet to cut out his name "prince" and adhered it at an angle. I took off the protective film and the release paper from the A2 Shaker Pouch then added the shaker bits and carefully placed the back of the card over it.

I created the frame using by inking Bristol paper with Distress Inks in Shaded Lilac, Dusty Concord, Seedless Preserves, and Wilted Violet. Then I used the
Retro Triangle Stencil and black embossing power to add the design. I the largest Card Mat Die to cut out the A2 mat, then used a smaller rectangle die to cut out the inside to make a frame. Save this piece for a future card. I adhered the frame onto the Shaker Pouch with 1/4" double sided tape.

Lastly, stamp and trim the sentiment and adhere it to the card. I added a few of the twirly shaker bits to the sentiment.

I hope you loved this week's sneak peeks and the new releases. It is one of my all time favorites!

Thank you for stopping by. Have a creative day!
