Stamp Anniething Sneak Peek Day 2: Michael - Hap-Hee-Hee Birthday

Welcome to Day 2 of Stamp Anniething's sneak peeks where we are featuring three iconic 80's musicians! Yesterday, we featured Madonna, and today we are showcasing the King of Pop stamp, Michael - Hap-Hee-Hee Birthday! I created the scene by using some older dies from Stamp Anniething (listed below). What a fabulous release this month!

Stamp Anniething products used:
  • Michael - Hap-Hee-Hee Birthday stamp and outline die
  • Concert Stage Builder
  • Spotlight #2 Stencil
Other supplies used:
  • A6 white cardbase
  • Black cardstock
  • Silver glitter cardstock
  • Distress Inks: Barn Door, Black Soot
  • Distress Spray Stains: Brushed Pewter, Picket Fence
  • Distress Oxide Ink: Squeezed Lemonade
  • Transparent Vellum
Copic markers used to color stamps:
  • Skin: E57, E25, E23, E13
  • Cheeks & tongue: R22, R20
  • Hair: 100, C7, C5, C3 + Black Copic Multi-liner
  • White: C3, C1, 0
  • Black: 100, C7, C5, C3
  • Red: R39, R27, R22

I first created the background by ink-smooshing on Bristol paper using Distress Inks in Barn Door and Black Soot. Then I ink-smooshed with Distress Spray Stains in Brushed Pewter and Picket Fence. I adhered this to a black cardstock A6 size mat.

I cut out a piece of silver glitter cardstock for the stage. I used the Spotlight #2 Stencil with Distress Oxide ink in Squeezed Lemonade and inked the spotlight onto transparent vellum. I fussy cut this out and adhered it onto the background with vellum tape runner.

I used the Concert Stage Builder to cut out pieces of the stage in black cardstock and adhered it onto the background. To finish the card, I added the sentiment.
Thank you for stopping by! Please come back tomorrow for Day 3 and our final day of sneak peeks. Have a creative day!
