La-La Land Crafts: Happy Mail

The December 2024 La-La Land Crafts Kit of the Month (KOTM) has the cutest critters (snail, cat, sloth, and dog/cat combo) called Happy Mail, the most beautiful Sending Mail Marci stamp, and an amazing Mailbox Die for the critters to hang on! 

This card showcases Sending Mail Marci and one of the cat critters from Happy Mail. This month's theme is all about happy mail/snail mail and is perfect for sending cards for any happy occasion.

Supplies used:

• 6"x6" white card base
• 5-1/8" x 5-1/8" pink cardstock panel/mat
• 5"x5" white cardstock for stenciling
  
• White cardstock to cut out six layers of shaker frame
• Acetate for shaker window
• Double-sided adhesive foam tape for shaker
• Small beads (or any shaker bits)

Copic Markers used:

Marci

• Skin: E04, E11, E21, E00, E000
• Eyes: B97, B95, B91
• Cheeks: R20
• Lips: R83, RV11
• Hair: E59, E57, E55, E53
• Blue: B97, B95, B93, B91
• Pink: R85, R83, RV11
• White: N5, N3, N1, 0
• Dark brown (bag): E47, E44, E43, E42
• Tan: E33, E31, E30

Cat

• Eyes: YG97, YG93
• Fur: W6, W4, W3, W1, 0
• Pink: R20
• White: N5, N3, N1, 0

Notes:

• Use the Double Stitched Arches Dies to create the shaker. Cut out 6 layers of the frame.
• So that the shaker lays flat on the card front, die cut the card front with the Double Stitched Arches Die and place the shaker flat against it. On the reverse side, add layers of foam tape and then adhere to the card base.
• Adhere the colored stamps and die cuts as shown.
