La-La Land Crafts: Snail Mail

The December 2024 La-La Land Crafts Kit of the Month (KOTM) is all about happy mail! This kit has the an adorable Marci stamp called Sending Mail Marci, the cutest critters stamps called Happy Mail, and a Mailbox Die. This critters set comes with a snail, sloth, cat, and dog/cat combination. I just love the cute snails, so I had to make a snail mail card.

Supplies used:

• Slimline card base 3-1/2'W x 8-1/2"H
• Pink cardstock for panel/mat, die cutting parts of mailbox, and letters
  
• White cardstock for stenciling, die cutting parts of mailbox, and snow
• Distress Inks for stenciling in Victorian Velvet, Bundled Sage, Broken China
• Distress Ink in Hickory Smoke for edges of mailbox
• Transparent Vellum

Copic markers & Prismacolor pencils used:

• Snail Body & Head: E99, E97, E95, E93
• Blue: B16, B14, B12, B00 + PC903, PC919
• Green: YG97, YG95, YG93, YG91 + PC911, PC912
• Pink: RV13, RV11, RV02, RV00 + PC928, PC929

Notes:

• The snow is hand cut. Ink the edges with Distress Ink in Broken China.
• Make sure you insert the snail before gluing the door down on the mailbox.
