Stamp Anniething: Some Friendships Don't Need Words

I'm having fun playing with this month's Stamp Anniething release, where the theme was inspired by an animated film about a young viking where he must catch and train a dragon. This release, called Stay Strong, Smart, and Fearless, is perfect for making masculine cards, as well as feminine cards!

Supplies used:
  • A6 white card base
  • Black cardstock mat/panel
  • Bristol carstock for ink smooshing
  • Distress inks for ink smooshed background: Mustard Seed, Squeezed Lemonade, Wild Honey, Carved Pumpkin, Black Soot, Hickory Smoke

Girl
  • Skin: E04 E11, E21, E00
  • Cheeks: R20
  • Tongue: R22, R20
  • Hair: YR27, YR24, YR21
  • Brown: E37, E35, E33, E31
  • Blue Green: BG78, BG75, BG72
  • Gray/Silver: T5, T3, T1, T0
Dragon
  • Yellow: YR24, YR21, YR20
  • Blue: BG75, BG72, BG70
  • Green: YG95, YG93, YG91
  • Brown: E29, E25, E23
  • Black: N7,N5, N3
  • White: N3, N1, 0
Notes/Tips:
  • If you have never ink smooshed, please see my prior blog post on how to ink smoosh here: INK SMOOSH
  • After ink smooshing, create the tree background using the Redwood Forest Stencil with Black Soot and Hickory Smoke Distress Inks.
