Scrappy Boy Stamps: More Butt Cracker and Mouse Fun!

Looks like many of you, including myself, are having a lot of fun with the Scrappy Boy Stamps Butt Cracker Fairies stamps, the Mouse Sprinkle Donut Embellishment Die, and the Mouse Lollipop Embellishments Dies! People are sure getting a chuckle with the Butt Cracker Fairies. I couldn't resist making another card with them! Also, I am loving the Mouse "snack" dies so I created two cards to share. Project 1: Feeling FLUSH With Excitement This Christmas


Scrappy Boy Stamps products used:
  • Butt Cracker Fairies Stamps and Outline Dies

Supplies used:
  • A2 Top-folding white card base
  • Double-sided adhesive foam tape

Copic markers used:
  • Skin: E04, E11, E21, E00, E000

Notes/tips:
  • To cut out the card base, place the die slightly over the crease of the top folding white A2 card base. Run through die cut machine so the die doesn’t cut the top of the crease.

  • A6 white card base
  • Distress Inks for coloring donuts: Vintage Photo, Picked Raspberry
  • Various Copic colors for sprinkles (green, blue, red, purple, pink)
  • Double-sided adhesive foam tape
Notes/tips:
  • Cut patterned papers as shown (exact measurements, not necessary), assemble, and adhere as shown.
  • Ink the donuts using the Distress Inks listed above.
  • Adhere the donuts using double-sided adhesive foam tape.
Project 3: Birthday Card

Supplies used:
  • A2 white card base
  • Black cardstock mat
  • Black, green, pink, white cardstock for lollipops
Notes/tips:
  • Cut all papers/pattern papers, assemble, and adhere as shown.
  • Die cut the Mouse Lollipop Embellishment Dies, assemble, and adhere as shown.

Scrappy Boy Stamps: Get inspired!

I'm really having fun with the Scrappy Boy Stamps' October release. I'm slowly building up my Christmas card stash so today I have two Christmas cards and one sports card to share. Please scroll down to see all three inspirational projects using 1) Christmas Carol, 2) Cute Kids I Love Sports, and 3) Butt Cracker Fairies. 

Project 1: The Spirit of Christmas Warms Every Heart

Supplies used:
  • White cardstock base 6-1/8" x 4-1/2"
  • Red cardstock  12" x 4-1/4"- scored at 3" and 6" (Fold accordion style)
  • White cardstock for inside card 2-3/4" x 4-1/4"
  • White, green, red cardstock scraps to die cut holly plant

Ghost of Christmas Present
  • Skin: E04, E11, E21, E00

Notes/Tips:
  • This is a Z-fold card. Glue the oval piece onto the left half of the front panel.
  • Assemble all pieces as shown.
Project 2: Hope Your Day Is A Slam Dunk


Scrappy Boy Stamps products used:
  • Cute Kids I Love Sports Stamps and Dies
  • I Love Sports Paper Pack
  • Stitched Circle Dies
Supplies used:
  • White cardstock base 12" x 5" - scored at 3" and 9"
  • White cardstock 5-7/8" x 5" (inside panel)
  • Black cardstock
  • Watermark ink pad and white embossing powder
Copic markers used:
  • Skin: E27, E25, E23, E13
  • Hair: 100, C7, C5, C3
  • Yellow: V20, Y13, Y11, Y00
  • White: N3, N1, 0
  • Purple: V28, V25, V22
  • Orange: W5, E09, E08, YR16


Notes/tips:
  • Use the 4-3/4" stitched circle die to cut the ends of the card base so that they are rounded. Fold at the score marks to make a gate fold.
  • Using the white cardstock 5-7/8" x 5", stamp the sentiment then add this panel to the inside of the card.
  • Cut black cardstock circles using the 4-3/4" stitched circle die. Cut each circle so it fits in the front and back of each gate fold panel and adhere.
  • Use the 4-3/4" stitched circle die to cut a circle using the basketball patterned paper. Add glue to the left edge of the circle and adhere to the left panel.
  • Using one of the black round circle scraps, heat emboss the sentiment, then adhere to the bottom of the patterned paper as shown.
  • Adhere the colored stamp.
Project 3: It's Going To Be A Booty-ful Holiday Season


Scrappy Boy Stamps products used:
  • Butt Cracker Fairies Stamps and Outline Dies
  • Butt Cracker Fairies Paper Pack
  • A2 Dome Shaker Card Die
  • Stitched Rectangle Dies

Supplies used:
  • A2 white card base
  • White and aqua cardstock
  • Double-sided adhesive foam tape

Copic markers used:
  • Skin: E04, E11, E21, E00, E000
  • Cheeks, mouth, lips: R20
  • Tongue: R22
  • Hair: E18, E08, YR18, YR14
  • Heart: R29
  • Blue: B16, B04, B02, B00


Notes/tips:
  • Cut the patterned paper leaving a 1/8" border and adhere to the inside of the card.
  • Cut off the top half of the front panel of the card base.
  • Using the smaller stitched dome shaped die, cut out of white cardstock, stamp the sentiment, and adhere to the inside of the card. Add a strip of patterned paper to the bottom.
  • Using the larger stitched dome shaped die, cut out of aqua cardstock and adhere to the front of the card as shown.
  • Using the smaller stitched dome shaped die, cut out of patterned paper and adhere to the top of the aqua cardstock.
  • Adhere the colored stamp and sentiment using double-sided adhesive foam tape.

Project 1: Don't Be A Scrooge

Notes/Tips:
  • Use the 4.25" x 5.5" Stitched Scalloped Edge Die to cut the patterned paper for the bottom layer. Then use the 3.5" x 4-5/8" Stitched Rectangle Die to cut out the center of the patterned paper you just cut. Layer the white rectangle mat in between them.
  • Adhere the colored stamps and sentiment onto the card using double-sided adhesive foam tape.
Project 2: Stressed, Blessed, and Football Obsessed

  • Die cut and assemble the football helmet and cut patterned papers and assemble as shown.
  • Adhere the colored stamps and sentiment onto the card using double-sided adhesive foam tape.
Project 3: A Scene From the Holiday Favorite, the Butt-Cracker

  • White gel pen (create sparkle on tutu)

Notes/tips:
  • Die cut and assemble music box as shown. If you don't have metallic cardstock, use regular cardstock.
  • Adhere the colored stamps and sentiment onto the card using double-sided adhesive foam tape.
Project 4: Birthday Flip Open Present Card



Scrappy Boy Stamps products used:
  • Flip Open Present Die
  • Mouse Lollipop Embellishment Die
  • I Love Theme Parks Paper Pack
  • Happy Birthday Pop-up Envelope Die (sentiment only)

Supplies used:
  • A2 white card base
  • Pink, light red, dark red, black cardstock
  • Adhesive hook and loop dots (Velcro Dots)-optional


Notes/tips:
  • The Flip Open Present Die can be used alone and doesn't have to be put on a card. 
  • The sentiment can go on the outside of the card, if preferred.
  • Adhere the mouse head onto the inside of the present die using adhesive foam tape so that you can place the gift card/money behind the ears.
  • I used an adhesive hook and loop dot to secure the opening of the present box.

Scrappy Boy Stamps: Have a Beary Christmas

It's a great time to start making some Christmas cards. I used Scrappy Boy Stamps' Craft Wagon Die and the coordinating Craft Wagon Add On Dies to create this adorable bear Christmas card. It's fun to make Christmas cards from dies that are not specifically made just for Christmas. This way, I can change the patterned papers and colors for any holiday or occasion.

Project 1: Hollywood Vixen - You'll Never Want To Let Me Go

Supplies used:
  • The easel card I used is from "Stamping on the Back Porch" by Karen Titus. Please see the measurements on her website here: Easel. I used a scalloped die for the front panel instead of the postage stamp die she used. 
  • Gold cardstock for the base of the easel card.
  • White cardstock for the front panel of the easel card (scalloped pieced) and for the front panel for the clouds.
  • Black cardstock for the panel/mat & sentiment.
  • Distress Oxide Ink in Faded Jeans for the clouds in the background.
  • White embossing powder for sentiment.
  • Double-sided adhesive foam tape.

Notes/Tips:
  • Die cut the body of the dog house using patterned papers from the Cute Kids Dog Lovers Paper Pack.
  • Die cut the roof lines and bottom edge from white cardstock.
  • Assemble the dog house as shown then adhere the colored stamps (front) and sentiment (back).
  • Add an eyelet onto the gift card holder piece and tie on the baker's twine.

  • Adhere the colored stamp and sentiments onto the card front.

Project 4: Happy Birthday Pop-Up Envelope Christmas Add On Die - Have A Super Cool Birthday

  • Queen of Snow stamp and outline die
  • Queen of Snow Paper Pack
Supplies used:
  • White cardstock
  • White glitter cardstock

  • Double sided adhesive foam tape

Notes/Tips:
  • Die cut and assemble the Happy Birthday Pop-Up Envelope Card Die leaving out the inside piece so that there is an opening to add the Christmas wreath.
  • Die cut the Christmas add on pieces to create the wreath. Be creative and decorate the wreath however you desire!
  • Adhere the sentiment so that it is centered inside the wreath.
  • Adhere the colored stamp using double sided adhesive foam tape.
