Stamp Anniething Day 2 New Release: Siv-You're All I'll Ever Mead

It's Day 2 of the sneak peeks of Stamp Anniething's new release! Today, I am sharing a 6" x 6" card I made using Siv - You're All I'll Ever Mead, a beautiful Nordic girl from the Viking era. This play on words for you're all I'll ever NEED and the stamp Siv, is perfect for cards/scrapbooking/treat bags/tags for Valentine's Day, friendship, and romance. Add your own sentiment and the uses are endless! Siv comes with a coordinating outline die.

I have to be honest, I had to look up what mead is. It is an alcoholic beverage made by fermenting honey with water and with ingredients, such as fruits, spices, grains, or hops. It was a drink the Vikings made and enjoyed.

Siv is such a pretty stamp and I wanted to showcase her in pastel colors. I wanted her to be more of a girly girl than a rugged Viking girl so I used pink, teal and aqua colors for this card. I colored her with Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers. After coloring her, I cut her out with the coordinating outline die.

Spectrum Noir markers used:

Hair: TN7, EB1, TN2, GY2
Skin: AP3, FS8, FS7, FS6, FS9
Cheeks: FS4
Tongue: PP4, PP2
Aqua: BT9, BT7, BT5, BT1
Pink: PP5, PP4, PP2
Mug: TN7, TN5, TN3, TN2
Mead: GB7, GB4, GB2

I used the Norse stencil and inked it on white cardstock with Stamp Anniething Rosie Cheeks Hybrid Ink. I used the circle die and circle frame die from the Shaker Basics-Set 1 to cut out the background. I cut leaves using one of the dies from the Leaf Dies set and added some paper flowers, heart die cuts, and a doily from my stash. Also, the patterned paper is from all different companies that I've had in my stash for years.

Nordic Stencil

I stamped the sentiment on white cardstock then cut it out with one of the banner dies from the Banner Dies set.

Thank you for visiting! This new release will be available on the Stamp Anniething website beginning Friday, January 8. Come back tomorrow to see Day 3, the final new release stamp. Have a great day!

    1. Hi Marcie! I started off with Spectrum Noir and then I acquired some Copics from a friend. I still love my SNs so I color with both SN and Copics. I am in Elk Grove, so not too far from EDH!
