Stamp Anniething New Release Day 3: Joseph - Sending a Smile

Welcome to Day 3 and the final day of the sneak peeks of the new releases! Keeping with this month’s theme of “friendship,” I am showcasing, Joseph - Sending a Smile. Handsome Joseph is at an outdoor adventure with his bestie. I’ve been missing my besties and going on adventures with them. I am hoping we will be able to do an outdoor adventure soon!

For this card, I first stamped Joseph, then cut him out with the coordinating outline die. I then colored him with Copic markers.

Copic Colors Used:

Hair: E47, E44, E42

Skin: E18, E17, E15, E13, E11

Cheeks: R32, R30

Eyes: E37, E35, E31

Blue: B28, B24, B23, B21

Red: R39, R37, R14, R32

White: T3, T1, 0

To make the scene/background for this card, I used two stencil builders from Stamp Anniething. I first used the Mountain Stencil Builder to create the forest/trees using Hybrid ink in Willow Bough. Then I stenciled the mountains using Hybrid ink in Pecan. I created the sky using the Cloud Stencil Builder stencil using Hybrid ink in Sky. I colored the ground using Hybrid ink in Pecan. 

I cut out the word “bestie” using the new Bestie word die in brown and white cardstock. I stamped the sentiment “good friends, great adventures” on white cardstock and cut it in a banner shape using my paper trimmers. I also cut a mat out of brown cardstock for it. Using the same brown cardstock, I cut a A6 size mat for the card base. I adhered all the pieces together using liquid glue. To finish the card, I cut out a few birds out of black cardstock to add to the scene.
