Scrappy Boy Stamps: Grape Scott! How Old Are You?

I still remember how funny this episode of America's favorite red head show was when I saw it as a child. Scrappy Boy Stamps released two stamp sets based on America's favorite red head called Everyone's Favorite Red Head and Chocolate, Wine, & Best Friends. Today's card features stamps from the Chocolate, Wine, & Best Friends set where I made a cute and funny birthday card.

To make this A2 card, I first stamped the images, colored them with Copic markers, then cut them out with the coordinated outline dies.

Copic Markers Used:
Skin: E13, E11, E21, E00, E000
Cheeks: E93
Lips: R37, R35, R32
Hair: E18, E08, YR18, YR14
Blue: B02, B00, B000
White: C5, C3, C1, 0
Purple: V17, V15, V12
Brown: E27, E25, E23

Grapes:
Purple: V17, V15, V12
Green: G17, G14, YG11

I created the background using the smooshing technique by using Distress Inks in Dusty Concord and Seedless Preserves. I used the Hearts and Dots Background Stencil with Fuchsia Stencil Butter to create the textured hearts and dots. I used the A2 Stitched Scalloped Edge Die to cut out this panel.

I diagonally cut a piece of patterned paper from the Chocolate & Wine paper pad and backed it with purple cardstock then adhered the 5 grape bunches then adhered it to the background.

I stamped the two sentiments, trimmed them, and adhered them to the card. I used double-sided adhesive foam tape to adhere the beautiful grape-stomping America's favorite red head. I adhered the card front to a top-folding A2 card base and the card was finished.

Thank you for visiting today. I hope you give this card a try! These Scrappy Boy Stamps stamps, stencils, dies, and papers are so fun! Have a creative day!

  1. One of my favorite episodes of Lucy. The stomping of the grapes. Your coloring is spot on and the wine stain is great. So cute.
