Stamp Anniething: You're Iconic

It's my Design Team Day at Stamp Anniething where I use a stamp from a prior release. Today I am using the Marilyn Monroe-inspired stamp called Norma Jean - You're Iconic.  Did you know Marilyn Monroe's real name is Norma Jean? This stamp comes with a coordinating outline die, but I don't have it so I fussy cut her out. I also used one of the flower stamps from the set called Cherise - You Overwhlem Me to create this A2 card.

I first stamped all the images, colored them with Copic markers, then fussy cut them out.

Copic Markers Used:
Skin: E04, E11, E00, E50
Cheeks: E93
Tongue: R22, R20
Hair: E59, E57, E55, E53
Purple: V17, V15, V12
Black: C7, C5, C3
Flowers: V06, V12

To create the background, I used the Roses Stencil and inked it with Distress Oxide ink in Dusy Concord. I kept the outside edge light to create a faded look. I used the Scalloped Mat Die to cut out this panel.  I cut out the Open Mat Circle Die from white cardstock and adhered it over the stenciled roses. I added the flowers over the circle die. I stamped the sentiment directly onto the stenciled background. I adhered Norma Jean using double-sided adhesive foam tape.

I used the large rectangular Card Mat Die to cut out the purple cardstock mat and adhered it to a top folding white card base. I then adhered the card front onto the purple cardstock.

To finish the card, I used a Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen to add a glittery sparkle to her dress, shoes, and flowers. I added Stickles to the centers of the flowers to give it some more sparkle.
Such a fun and cute card to make. I hope you give this card a try! Thank you for visiting and have a creative day!
