Paper Nest Dolls: All You Need is Love and a Dog

My favorite classic movie is the Wizard of Oz so when I saw this stamp called Avery in Oz from Paper Nest Dolls, I just had to make a card to go with a gift for a friend that just got a new puppy. This stamp comes in both red rubber and in digital formats. I used the digital stamp so that I can make it the size I want.

I first printed the digital stamp, colored it with Copic markers, then fussy cut her out.

Copic markers used:
Skin: E04, E11, E21, E00, E000
Cheeks: E93
Hair: E59, E57, E55, E53
White: C5, C3, C1, 0
Blue: B28, B24, B23, B21
Red: R29, R24, R22
Basket: YR24, YR23, YR21
Dog fur: E33, E31, E30, W3
Dog nose: W4, W2
White gel pen for stripes on dress

I cut out the card front using an A2 Scalloped Edge Die from Scrappy Boy Stamps and used Distress Oxide Ink in Tumbled Glass and a cloud stencil from Stamp Anniething to create the clouds. I used Distress Oxide in Mowed Lawn to create the grass. I used Distress Oxide in Squeezed Lemonade and Wild Honey and a brick stencil from Stamp Anniething to create the yellow brick road then cut it out using a hill die. At this time, I used my stamp positioner to stamp the sentiment from Penny Black.

I used a rainbow and cloud die from Sonoran Desert Crafts and colored the rainbow using Copic markers R29, YR16, Y15, G05, and B24. Everything is adhered using liquid glue, except for Avery, where I used double-sided adhesive foam tape. I adhered this card front onto a white mat that I cut out using a double stitched A2 die from Gina Marie Designs. I then adhered this onto an A2 top folding card base.

Such a fun stamp to color and card to make. I hope you give this one a try! Thank you for visiting and have a crafty day!
