Stamp Anniething Day 3 Sneak Peeks: Soak Up the Sun

Welcome to Day 3 and the final day of Stamp Anniething's June 2022 sneak peeks! It's been fun sharing cards with this month's "beach" theme! Today's card showcases our handsome Billy - Soak Up the Sun, the Beach Builder Dies, and the Beach Word Die. He is having fun building his sandcastle and playing on the beach. Great stamp for all the little fellows in your life!

To make this A2 card, I first colored stamped the image, colored it with Copic markers, then cut it out using the coordinated outline die.

Copic markers used:
Skin: E27, E25, E23, E13
Cheeks: R83
Tongue: R22, R20
Hair: C9, C7, C5
Blue: B97, B95, B93, B91
Yellow: YR15, Y18, Y02
Red: R39, R35, R22
Sand: E44, E33, E31, E50

I first cut out the card front using the large rectangular die from the Card Mat Die set. I then used the Beach Stencil Builder and inked the water with Distress Inks in Salty Ocean and Chipped Sapphire. I then used the Clouds Stencil and inked it with Distress Oxide Ink in Tumbled Glass.

I used the sand and bucket dies from the Beach Builder Die set and cut it out of white cardstock then colored it with Copic markers (same colors listed above). I had some sand dollars left over from yesterday's card.

I used the two palm tree dies from the Palm Trees Die set and cut them out of white cardstock and colored them with Copic markers.

Copic Markers used:
Brown: E37, E35, E31
Green: G28, G05, YG06

I ended up cutting the sand die cut in the middle to make the sand fit on the card. I adhered all the die cut pieces with Stamp Anniething liquid glue (Glue Tube) except for Billy. For Billy, I used double-sided adhesive foam tape.

To create the Beach word, I first inked up a piece of Bristol cardstock with Distress Oxide Inks in Blueprint Sketch and Barn Door. I splattered it with water to give it some texture. I wanted the top of the word blue and the bottom red so I carefully placed the dies onto the inked cardstock. The outline die is just white cardstock. I used Copic markers to color the shell and starfish.

Copic markers used:
Shell: E11, E95, E00
Starfish: Y38, Y17, Y13

I adhered the Beach word, shells, starfish, and sand dollar at the top of the card then I stamped the sentiment below it. I adhered the card front to a top folding A2 card base and the card was finished.
