For this A2 card, I first stamped the images and colored them with Copic markers. I then cut it out using the coordinated outline die. I stamped three of the sand dollars.
Copic markers used:
Skin: E99, E34, E53, E51
Cheeks: E93
Tongue: R22, R20
Hair: E49, E57, E55, E53
Swimsuit: E18, R08, R05, YR04
Goggle and flippers: BG18, BG13, BG11
Sand dollar: B63, B60, E81, W0
I used the scalloped edge Card Mat Die to cut out the mat then used the new Poppy Stencil and inked it with Distress Oxide Ink in Rusty Hinge. I kept the ink light as I didn't want it to be too bright.
For the ocean scene, I first cut a circle out of Bristol paper using the circle die from Shaker Basics Set #1. I then inked it with Distress Inks in Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers, and Salty Ocean. I flicked some water onto the ink and blotted it up with a paper towel. I used the Ocean Builder Stencil to add the coral, fish, and dolphins using Distress Ink in Black Soot.
After inking the ocean scene, I adhered it to the scalloped card mat. I then stamped the sentiment onto the card. I adhered Chelsea using double sided adhesive foam tape then used liquid glue to adhere the sand dollars and jelly dots.
Such a cute and fun card to make! Hope you give this one a try. Thank you for stopping by and please come back tomorrow for day 2 of sneak peeks!
