Stamp Anniething Sneak Peek Day 1: I Think You’re Legen “dairy”

Welcome to Day 1 of July’s Stamp Anniething sneak peeks where the theme is Down on the Farm! We have the cutest stamps, dies, and paper pad this month! Today’s sneak peek is our adorable stamp called Clara - Legen-dairy. Isn’t our chibi doll the cutest cow you’ve ever seen? Also this month we are showcasing this fabulous Barn Builder Die. The barn doors open and close to make this a fun interactive card. The chickens are from a digital stamp called Happy Birthday Chick that we released during our Spring Event earlier this year. I thought it coordinated so well with this card.

To make this A6 card, I first stamped all the images, colored them with Copic markers, and cut them out with the coordinating dies. Since the chickens are digital, I made them difference sizes and fussy cut them.  I cut off the legs of the chicken laying on the hay. I also stamped the sentiment, trimmed it, and added a black cardstock mat.

I cut out all the pieces of the Barn Builder dies out of chipboard, except for the hay. For the hay, I used white cardstock and colored it with Copic markers. I used Distress Inks in Barn Door and swiped the pad onto the barn to give it a distressed look. For the white parts of the barn, I painted it with white acrylic paint using a dry stipple brush to give it a distressed look as well. I added a couple of metal brads to the doors so that they can stay closed. These brads are from Stampin’ Up. I adhered the sentiment and milk bottles inside the barn and all the barn pieces together with Stamp Anniething Glue.

For the background, I used the Clouds Stencil with Stamp Anniething Hybrid Ink in Caribbean Sea. I used Hybrid ink in Parakeet and Apple Green for the grass. I adhered the barn and chickens to the background using Stamp Anniething Glue and used double-sided foam tape for Clara. I adhered this card front to colored cardstock I found in my stash that matched the barn. To finish the card, I adhered this to an A6 top folding white card base.
