La-La Land Crafts: September 2024 KOTM - Project 2: Hi, Girlfriend

It's La-La Land Crafts September 2024 Kit of the Month (KOTM) Release Day! There is so much to share with this month's amazing KOTM, which includes: the beautiful Peace Sign Marci; the LLamazing stamp set of two adorable llamas; a celestial sun/moon die; a macrame wall hanging die; and two cactus dies. 

I shared my first project in a separate post using Peace Sign Marci and the macrame wall hanging. You can find that post below this one. For my second project, I used the llama stamps, celestial sun/moon die, and cactus dies.

Supplies used:

• 6 x 6 White card base
• Black cardstock mat
• Bristol cardstock for distress ink background
• Distress Ink: Sand - Brushed Corduroy; Sky - Squeezed Lemonade, Wild Honey, Worn Lipstick
• Light and dark yellow cardstock for celestial sun/moon
• White cardstock for cactus dies (color with Copic markers)

Copic markers used:

Llamas

• Eyes: E23
• Ears & cheeks: R21, R20
• Fur: E43, E42, E41, E40
• Legs: E44, E43, E42
• Hooves: E47, E44, E42

Cactus

• Green: YG67, YG63, YG61, YG03

Notes:

• After inking the background, sprinkle some water on the sand to create some texture. Add a few water drops to the sky as well.
