Scrappy Boy Stamps: September 2025 Release Inspiration

I'm back to share three more projects using the amazing Scrappy Boy Stamps September 2025 new release. I have three projects to share using: 1) New Yorkers,  2) Cute Kids Military and Dog Tags & Word Dies, and 3) Spooky Web Mouse Ears Die.

• Silver, blue, red glitter cardstock for dog tag dies

Notes/tips:

• Die cut all pieces, assemble, and adhere as shown.

Project 3: Boo!

Scrappy Boy Stamps products used:

• Spooky Web Mouse Ears Add on Die
• Mouse Ears Mini Album Die
• I Love Halloween Paper Pack
• Alphabet Dies

Supplies used:

• 6x6 white card base
• Orange cardstock mat/panel
• White cardstock to cut out 5 layers of Spooky Web Mouse Ears Add on Die
• Black and orange cardstock
• Clear acetate for shaker
• Shaker filler, such as tiny beads and sequins
• Red rhinestone for spider

Notes/tips:

• I cut 5 layers of the Spooky Web Mouse Ears Add on and glued them together. I filled each opening with tiny beads and sequins. If you have larger shaker bits, you may need to cut a few more layers. 
• If you don't have a red rhinestone for the spider, punch out a small circle using red glitter cardstock.

Notes/Tips:

• Put the top edge of the die over the crease of the folded 6.5"W x 5.5"H inch paper so that it doesn't cut to create a top folding card base. Die cut the remaining pieces and assemble as shown.

Project 3: Spooky

Scrappy Boy Stamps products used:

• Ghost Mouse Dies
• Bookmark & Toppers Dies
• Tombstone Die (spider web and Spooky sentiment)

Supplies used:

• White, Black and orange cardstock
• White Bristol cardstock
• Distress Inks in Black Soot, Wild Honey, Spiced Marmalade
• Black and orange 1/4" satin ribbon

Notes/Tips:

• Die cut the back of the bookmark using black cardstock. Die cut the topper using the orange cardstock. Die cut the bookmark front using the white Bristol cardstock. Ink smoosh with the Distress Inks stated above. Let it dry completely.
• Die cut two spider webs. Cut one in half and adhere to the book mark as shown. 
• Die cut the ghosts and sentiment and adhere to the bookmark as shown.
• Tie on the ribbon. I stapled the ribbon to the topper to secure it.

Scrappy Boy Stamps: How You Booing?

It's starting to feel a little like fall around here. It's getting darker earlier making it cooler in the evenings. It's gotten me in the mood to make more Halloween cards. I love the Scrappy Boy Stamps Cute Kids Halloween Dress Up stamps and I Love Halloween papers for making adorable Halloween cards. Today's card features the Cute Kid dressed as a ghost.

Scrappy Boy Stamps products used:

• Cute Kids Halloween Dress Up 6x8 Stamp Set & Dies
• I Love Halloween 6x6 Paper Pack
• Tombstone Diet Set (Spooky word die only)
• Torn Stitched Tags

Supplies Used:

• A2 Black card base
• Orange cardstock for the tag and word die
• Purple cardstock scrap for Spooky word die
• Black cardstock scrap to mat sentiment and word die
• Ribbon for the tag (I used purple)
• Double-sided adhesive foam tape

Copic Markers Used:

• Skin: E04, E11, E21, E00
• Cheeks: R20
• Tongue: R22, R20
• White: N5, N3, N1, 0
• Gray: N7, N5, N3, N1

Instructions:

• Cut the patterned paper leaving a 1/8" border and adhere to the card base.
• Using the 3.75" x 2" Torn Stitched Tag Die, cut one tag using orange cardstock.
• Using the 3-3/8" x 1-5/8" Torn Stitched Tag Die, cut one out of the black patterned paper from the I Love Halloween paper pack.
• Align the two tags, leaving a border then use one of the hole dies from the Torn Stitched Tag Die to create the hole.
• Tie the ribbon to the tag.
• Adhere the image to the tag
• Adhere the tag using double-sided adhesive foam tape to the card
• Using the spooky word die, cut out two backgrounds, one from black cardstock and one from orange cardstock. Cut the letters out of purple cardstock.
• Add a black mat to the sentiment then adhere the sentiment using double-sided adhesive foam tape.

Scrappy Boy Stamps: More August 2024 New Release Inspiration!

I am having so much fun with the August new release from Scrappy Boy Stamps! I have two projects to share today. First, I made this spooky, but cute shaker card with the Haunted Halloween stamps and papers. I created my own shaker bits using the Halloween Icons and Halloween Monster Shaker Confetti Die Plates. Second, I made a get well card using the Little Red Riding Hood stamp, papers, and Basket Weave Background Stencil. Please scroll down to see both projects. 

Project 1: Darkness Falls Across The Land, The Midnight Hour Is Close At Hand

Scrappy Boy Products Used:

• 6 x 6 white card base
• A2 size shaker pouch (I made my own using my Fuse tool. You can purchase pre-made shaker pouches)
• Acetate for shaker (if making your own)
• Black, green, purple, and yellow cardstock to cut shaker bits
• Purple mix sequins
• Gray and black cardstock scrap for sentiment
• White embossing powder for sentiment
• Double sided foam tape

Crystal Ball Woman

Instructions: 

• Cut out the shaker bits using the Shaker Confetti Die Plates in various colors (listed above).
• Create an A2 size shaker pouch or use a pre-made one. Fill with shaker bits and cover the back with patterned paper from the Haunted Halloween Paper Pack. 
• Using the 4.75" tall Stitched Oval Die, cut out the center of a 6 x 6 patterned paper. Trim the pattered paper to 5.75" x 5.75". This will leave a 1/8" border around the card. This is the card front.
• Adhere the shaker onto the card base with strong tape or liquid glue.
• Adhere the card front using double sided foam tape.
• Adhere the colored images and sentiment to the card front using double-sided tape.

Project 2: Little Red Riding Hood - Don't Let The Big Bad Wolf Get You

I made this card thinking that it would be good for a get well card, but I think it can be used for a cheering up or an encouragement card as well.

Supplies used:

• A2 white card base
• White cardstock for stenciling
• Distress Ink in Gathered Twigs for stencil
• Double-sided foam tape to add Wolf image

Instructions:

• Stencil white cardstock with Distress Ink. Die cut using the 4.5" Banner Die. 
• Die cut patterned paper using the 5.25" Banner Die
• Adhere the smaller banner on top f the larger one then adhere onto the card base.
• Stamp the sentiment.
• Add the images onto the card. Adhere Red Riding Hood flat on the card and use double-sided foam tape for the wolf. 

Both cards are so fun to make. The shaker card will take a little more time, but the Red Riding Hood is very fast and easy.

We just passed the halfway point for summer so it's time to start thinking about fall and Halloween projects. Project 1: Tombstone Happy Halloween Card

The Tombstone Die is so fun. It comes with many dies that can be used to decorate the tomb. It comes with spiders, bats, crosses, a spider web, two word dies, and label dies. The Tombstone Die is great for mini-albums as well.

Supplies used:

• White cardstock to create the base
• Black cardstock for the mat layer and scraps for spiders, sentiment, RIP word and label mat dies.

• White Bristol cardstock to in background and add water spots
• Distress Inks in Pumice Stone, Hickory Smoke, Black Soot to ink background
• White pigment ink for sentiment
• White embossing powder for sentiment
• Black pigment ink to stamp the ghosts
• Transparent embossing powder for ghosts

Prismacolor pencils used for vellum ghosts:

• PC904, PC1023

Coloring Instructions:

I stamped the ghost images using black pigment inks onto transparent vellum. I think used transparent embossing powder over the pigment ink. I colored the ghosts using the Prismacolor pencils listed above.

Project 2: Cute Kids Halloween Dress Up: Witch Way To The Candy?

I love using stencils and patterned papers to create a quick and simple background for my cards. This card uses the new Witch Hats & Bats Background Stencil and the I Love Halloween paper pack. I used the new Alphabet Die Set to create the word BOO! This Alphabet Die Set is the perfect size to customize your own sentiments, words, and names for your cards.

Project 3: Little Red Riding Hood Shaker Book Mark

I love giving books as gifts for friends who love to read. Whenever I give a book, I like to include a book mark. I made this shaker book mark filled with shaker bits made from the X's and O's Confetti Plate Die. I cut out the shaker bits using different color cardstock. I added two of the colored stamps from the Little Red Riding Hood stamp set to the front of the bookmark. I used the Little Red Riding Hood Paper Pack for this bookmark.

Supplies used:

• Red, blue, green, yellow cardstock to cut X's & O's Confetti Plate Die for shaker bits
• Multi-colored sequins
• We R Memory Makers Fuseables (or clear acetate) to create shaker pouch
• We R Memory Makers Fuse Tool to seal shaker pouch
• Craft knife to cut window of shaker
• Strong double sided tape or strong liquid glue
• Tule or ribbon

Copic markers used:

Wolf

• Light gray: W3, W1, W0
• Dark gray: W7, W5, W3
• Pink (ears): E93
• Red: R17, R14, R22
• Blue: B16, B14, B01
• Yellow: YR24, YR23,Y21

Red Riding Hood

• Skin: E15, E11, E21, E00
• Cheeks: R20
• Lips: R29
• Hair: E29, E25, E21
• Green: G99, G94, YG63, G82, G40
• Red: R89, R29, R17, R14, R22
• Brown: E29, E25, E21

Instructions:

• Use the X's & O's Confetti Plate to cut shaker bits. Put aside.
• Cut two of the bookmarks using patterned paper using the Bookmark Die. I used 6x6 papers and the die is 6-1/2" tall. The top of the die won't be cut and will be covered by the topper.
• Use a craft knife to cut out a window in the front panel, leaving a 1/4" border on all edges. 
• Cut two of the toppers that fit all the way across the bookmark.
• The shaker pouch is made using We R Memory Keepers Fuseables and the Fuse tool to seal the edges. Use the Bookmark Die to cut two of the Fuseables (you can use light weight clear acetate, such as a page protector, as well). 
• Using the Fuse Tool, seal the left, right, and bottom edges, leaving the top open to create the shaker pouch.
• Fill the pouch with the X's & O's die cuts and sequins. Put as much or as little bits as you like. Use the Fuse Tool to seal the top. 
• Sandwich the pouch between the top and bottom of the bookmark and adhere using strong double adhesive tape or liquid glue. 
• Adhere the topper to the front and back, aligning the holes.
• Adhere the colored images using doubles sided tape or liquid glue. If using liquid glue, make sure it does not ooze out onto the acetate.
• Tie the ribbon onto the bookmark.

Stamp Anniething: Trick or Treat Slimline Card

I thought I'd get a jump on making some Halloween cards. Stamp Anniething has so many costumed chibi doll stamps that are perfect for Halloween! I used three digital stamps to make this slimline card. I colored and cut out the Halloween bag from the Sweetest Pumpkin stamp and added it to the other two images to make it look like they are ready for Trick or Treating.
