It's sneak peek week here at Stamp Anniething and the theme is space! For Day 3, the star of the show is the beautiful stamp, Taylor - Over the Moon. I've created a wiper card, using the new Wiper Card Die. This fabulous stamp can be used for many occasions, including birthday, friendship, Valentines, and any happy event!
I first stamped the stamp on white cardstock, then used the coordinating outline die to cut her out. I then colored it using Copic markers.
Copic Markers Used
Skin: E15, E11, E21, E00, E000
Hair: E49, E39, E19, E13, E21
Blue: B99, B97, B95, B93
Red: R39, R29, R22
Gray: T9, T5, T3, T1
Light Blue (Glasses): B02, B00
To create the background, I used the Squiggle Mat Die and used watercolor paper to cut it out. I ink blended it using Distress Inks in Chipped Sapphire, Seedless Preserves, and Mowed Lawn. I then splattered it with water and blotted up the excess water with a paper towel.
I cut out a white mat using the Scalloped Die from the Card Mat Die. I adhered the Squiggle Mat Die cutout onto this mat and then adhered the Taylor stamp using double sided foam tape. I stamped the sentiment and trimmed it. Then added a purple cardstock mat under the sentiment.
To create the wiper card, I used the new Wiper Card Die and cut out all the pieces from Bristol Watercolor Paper since I wanted it to be sturdy. I ink blended the side cover pieces with Distress Inks in Chipped Sapphire and Seedless Preserves. I again splattered it with water and blotted up the excess water with a paper towel.
For the pop up piece, instead of cutting it out of watercolor paper, I used a piece of acetate. I used a stars and moon die from Gina Marie Designs and used glitter cardstock to cut them out. I adhered them onto the acetate using liquid glue from Stamp Anniething's Glue Tube. I assembled the wiper card and adhered all the pieces using the liquid glue. Lastly, I adhered the card front to the wiper card and added a few deep purple heart jelly dots.
Such a fun card to make and with the wiper die, it's so easy! I hope you give this card a try.
I just love this technique. Thank you for sharing the colors and shading are great.
