Stamp Anniething: Happy Easter!

Did you know Stamp Anniething has digital stamps? I used the newly released digital stamp called Eggs-Actly As You Are to make this adorable Easter card. This stamp also comes with two sentiments. Digital stamps are free if you are a member of Stamp Anniething's Stamp Club, but can also be purchased separately. I love digital stamps, since you can make them any size you like.

• A6 white card base
• 1-3/4" square punch (or paper trimmer to cut 1-3/4" squares)
• Yellow cardstock mat/panel
• Yellow and black cardstock for sentiment mats
• Metallic or glitter gel pens to decorate eggs

Tips:

• I printed the digital stamp 3" tall. Let the width default. 
• I used a 1-1/4" square punch and arranged them on an A6 size panel then adhered them. I trimmed off the excess on the bottom of the panel. The sides fit perfectly.
• The big square piece behind the image is 2-7/8" x 2-7/8"

This is a fun card to put together. Great way to use up patterned paper scraps too!

Stamp Anniething: Easter Card

Easter comes early this year (March 31) so it's time to start making Easter cards! I used the beautiful Cherise - You Overwhelm Me stamp from Stamp Anniething for my Easter card. I didn't use the sentiment from the stamp set, instead I used alphabet dies to create a two tone Easter sentiment. I then added a couple potted plants to complete the scene.

Paper Nest Dolls: Will Work For Carrots

Easter is just two weeks away so I’m getting my final Easter cards done today. I just love using digital stamps so that I can make the image the size I need. Today’s 5x5 card features the adorable digital stamp from Paper Nest Dolls called Will Work For Carrots. This stamp is also available in a red rubber stamp. I’m keeping the cards clean and simple since I’ll be making several of these cards. 

I printed the image 2-3/4”W x 3” H and colored it with Copic markers in the following colors:

White: N3, N1, 0

Pink: RV52, RV00

Yellow: Y38, Y35, Y32

Orange: YR04, YR02

Blue Green: BG13, BG23, BG11, BG000

I used the yellow patterned paper from Echo Park Welcome Spring and the pink patterned paper from Carta Bella Flora No. 4 to create the mats for the card.

The polka dot papers for the flowers, leaves, and butterfly are from PhotoPlay Say it With Stamps by Becky Moore. I used older flower and butterfly dies from Sizzix, but I don’t have the exact name of the set. These dies were given to me by a friend.

This is a fun, fast, and easy card to make for Easter. I hope you give this one a try!

Stamp Anniething: Happy Easter

Happy Spring! It's spring-time here in the USA and here in Northern California, we are still experiencing quite a bit of rain. After years of drought, the rain is welcomed with open arms! Now it's time to celebrate Spring and Easter. Easter is just about three weeks away, so it's time to get those cards finished. I made this A2 Easter card using the adorable stamp from Stamp Anniething named Cherise - You Overwhelm Me. I used the Happy Easter sentiment from the retired stamp Jemma - Happy Easter.

For the background, I cut out the mat using the rectangle die from Shaker Basics Set #1. I inked the clouds stencil using Distress Ink in Blueprint Sketch and the grass stencil with Distress Oxide Ink in Mowed Lawn. I used the scalloped Card Mat Die to cut the mat using patterned paper from the Welcome Spring paper pack. I used purple cardstock from my stash for the final mat.

Scrappy Boy Stamps: New Memory Dex Dies!

What a fabulous month of new releases at Scrappy Boy Stamps!  In my previous blog post, I introduced the new 70's Family Boys, 70's Family Girls, and Cute Girls Easter stamp sets. Today, I'm showcasing two of the five new Memory Dex Dies that are part of the February 2023 new release! For the 70's Family Memory Dex card, I cut 5 layers of chipboard, 1 layer of white cardstock, and 1 layer of acetate using the Polaroid die to create the shaker. For the backing, I used patterned paper from the 70's Family Paper Pack. The shaker bits are from Stamp Anniething. 

For the Cute Girls Memory Dex card, I used 1 layer of black cardstock and 1 layer of chipboard using the Camera Memory Dex die (front) and patterned paper from the Cute Girls Easter Paper Pack for the back. The blue parts are blue glitter cardstock from JoAnn's Craft Store.
