Coffee Loving Cardmakers: Coffee or Cocoa, Whatever Keeps You Grounded

I have had such a fun time creating coffee/hot chocolate/tea-related cards for Coffee Loving Cardmakers! This is my 4th and last post as February's guest designer. I used two digital stamp sets from Super Sponsor Graciellie Design: 1) Coffee & Love and 2) Coffee Lovers Duo Bundle. The bundle includes stamps and a digital paper pack. I used one of the papers for the background of my card.

Products & supplies used:

• Coffee & Love Digital Stamps by Super Sponsor Graciellie Design
• Coffee Lovers Duo Bundle by Super Sponsor Graciellie Design
• Top folding 6x6 white card base
• Brown cardstock mat
• 5/8" pink ribbon

I imported the digital paper, stamps, and sentiment into Microsoft Publisher. I arranged the stamps to make a 6x6 card and then printed it on my laser printer. I colored the stamps with Copic markers.

Copic markers used:

• White: N5, N3, N1, 0
• Brown: E35, E33, E31
• Pink: RV63, RV52, RV10
• Green: B34, YG17, YG03
• Gray (ground): N3, N1

I trimmed the brown cardstock to leave a 1/8" white border around the card. I then trimmed the digital paper to leave a 1/8" brown border. I adhered the layers using liquid glue. To finish the card, I tied a 5/8" pink ribbon on the bottom of the card.

Coffee Loving Cardmakers: Just a Girl Who Loves Coffee

I am having so much fun creating coffee-related cards as February's guest designer for Coffee Loving Cardmakers! I am using a stamp from Scrappy Boy Stamps called Cute Girls Coffee. The perfect card for a coffee-loving friend!

Products used:

• Scrappy Boy Stamps: Cute Girls Coffee stamp and outline die, I Love Coffee Paper Pack, Stitched Rectangle Die, Stitched Scalloped Die, Stitched Circle Die, Stitched Banner Die
• CC Designs: Foliage Dies (retired)

Supplies used:

• A2 side folding white card base
• Brown, red, green cardstock
• Flatback pearl embellishments

Girl:

• Skin: E04, E11, E21, E00, E000
• Cheeks: E93
• Tongue: R22, R20
• Hair: T9, T7, T5, T3
• Blue: B16, B14, B12
• Red: R85, R83, R81

Coffee Cup:

• White: C5, C3, C1, 0
• Light brown: E33, E31, E30
• Sleeve: E59, E57, E55, E53

Instructions:

• I stamped and colored the stamp using Copic alcohol markers. I used the coordinating outline die to cut it out.
• I stamped the sentiment then used the Stitched Circle Die to cut it out.
• I used the dies to cut all the pieces and assembled as shown. I cut a strip of patterned paper for the Cute Girl to stand on. Everything is glued flat, except for the Cute Girl, where I used foam tape to add some dimension.
• To finish the card, I added flat back pearls to the center of the flowers.

Today's card features stamps and dies from Super Sponsor Stamp Anniething. The name of this stamp is Jamal-Brewtiful Day. It comes with the coffee sandwich board as well. The large coffee cups are dies called Thanks A Latte - Gift Card Add on.

Instructions:

• Stamp and color Jamal and coffee board, then cut out with coordinating outline dies. Set aside.
• Using a rectangle die, cut a mat out of Kraft paper. Using a coffee stencil as an embossing folder, run the mat and stencil through a die cut machine to create the impression. If you are unable to do the embossing, you can skip it.
• Stamp the sentiment on the right top corner of the mat.
• Die cut the coffee cups out of patterned paper. Cut the lids, sleeves, and hearts using white cardstock. Color the sleeves brown and the heart red. Assemble and glue the pieces together. Set aside.
• Using a 3" circle die, cut patterned paper for the top (the wall) and different pattern for the bottom (the floor). Add a small solid piece of cardstock in between the two papers (the chair rail).
• Assemble all the pieces of the card as shown. Trim off the right edge of the circle with scissors. Adhere all pieces flat using adhesive, except for Jamal and the coffee board. Use foam tape for Jamal and the coffee board to add dimension.

I get up in the morning before my husband so I am the coffee maker. Between the two of us, we normally drink one pot, but on occasion we need to make another half a pot. I am a no frills coffee drinker. My go-to coffee is Yuban, and I drink it black. It's pretty much coffee and crafting for me in the mornings. It's so nice to be retired!

Although I don't wear pink curlers any longer, I do remember wearing them when I was younger. This digital stamp from Super Sponsor Stamp Anniething, called "But Coffee First" is me in my younger days!

Coffee Cups and Plants:

Instructions:

• First create the brick background with the modeling paste. Ensure it is completely dry before proceeding to the next step.
• Using a sponge blending tool, add the Distress Ink in Bundled Sage to the center of the panel, keeping the outer edges white.
• Cut out the pieces of the Coffee Bar Builder Dies in white cardstock. Ink the main piece using Distress Ink in Gathered Twigs. Drag the ink pad on the cardstock to make it look like wood. Then drag the Bundles Sage ink pad on the trim pieces.
• Color the coffee pot and coffee cups with Copic markers (colors listed above). Assemble and glue the pieces together.
• Cut out the pieces of the Houseplant Builder Die. Color with Copic markers. Assemble and glue the pieces together.
• For the floor, I found of piece of brown speckled patterned paper in my scrap pile. I cut a strip of tan paper for the floor board. 
• Adhere all the pieces onto the card base as shown. The girl and house plants are mounted with foam tape and everything else with liquid glue.
• To finish the card, stamp the sentiment, trim, and adhere to the card front using foam tape.
