Paper Nest Dolls: Just a Note to Say Thank You

It's time to make some thank you cards to replenish my stash. I am using the cutest bee digital stamp from Paper Nest Dolls called Lulu Bee. It also comes in red rubber in the name of Lil Bee Emma. This adorable stamp makes the perfect A6 size shaker card. I used the Hexagon Stack Die from Paper Roses to create the shaker.

Scrappy Boy Stamps: Two Slimline Cards using the February Releases!

The 2023 Scrappy Boy Stamps February 2023 release is becoming one of my most favorite releases of all time! I love both the 70’s Family Boys and Girls sets and the Cute Girls Easter sets. Plus I’m having fun with the five fabulous Memory Dex Dies too. I’ll be sharing more projects with the new Memory Dex dies in the coming weeks. Today I am sharing two slimline cards using the newly released stamps, stencils, papers, and dies.

Stamp Anniething: You Are Dog-gone Terrific for National Love Your Pet Day!

Today is my Design Team Day at Stamp Anniething where I use a older stamp to create a project. Today I am using one of the stamps from my favorite Grab and Go Boxes called Love Me Love My Pets. Today just happens to be National Love Your Pet Day so I created this card for one of my dog-loving friends!

The Grab and Go Box has all the stamps, dies, cardstock, papers, and adhesive to create a beautiful card. From my stash, I also used other Stamp Anniething supplies along with others.

Scrappy Boy Stamps: New Memory Dex Dies!

What a fabulous month of new releases at Scrappy Boy Stamps!  In my previous blog post, I introduced the new 70's Family Boys, 70's Family Girls, and Cute Girls Easter stamp sets. Today, I'm showcasing two of the five new Memory Dex Dies that are part of the February 2023 new release! I used the Polaroid Memory Dex Die and the 70's Family Boys and Girls sets to create a couple of shaker cards. I used the Camera Memory Dex die and the Cute Girls Easter to create a cute and fun card.

If you're not into Memory Dex cards, these dies will work perfectly on an A2 size card base for cards or use them on your memory albums!

For the 70's Family Memory Dex card, I cut 5 layers of chipboard, 1 layer of white cardstock, and 1 layer of acetate using the Polaroid die to create the shaker. For the backing, I used patterned paper from the 70's Family Paper Pack. The shaker bits are from Stamp Anniething. 


For the Cute Girls Memory Dex card, I used 1 layer of black cardstock and 1 layer of chipboard using the Camera Memory Dex die (front) and patterned paper from the Cute Girls Easter Paper Pack for the back. The blue parts are blue glitter cardstock from JoAnn's Craft Store.

It's sneak peek time at Scrappy Boy Stamps and we have the most fabulous stamp sets ever! These sets are inspired by America's favorite 70's TV family. It's hard to see in the photo, but I embossed the stencil with black embossing powder to create the squares for each stamp. 

I cut and layered all the cardstock and patterned papers as shown. The large flowers are from an old Paper Shapers punch and the flower centers are from a 3/8" circle punch

Scrappy Boy Stamps: You're a dear, sweet, wonderful, perfectly marvelous person

Today is my design team day to use a previously released or older stamp set for my project. One of my favorite Scrappy Boy Stamps sets is called Enchanted, inspired by America's favorite TV witch. I created a card that can be used as a birthday, friendship, thank you, and any occasion to tell a person how wonderful he or she is. You can even turn this into a Valentine's Day and anniversary card.  I used coordinating patterned papers to create this bright and beautiful card.

I used the Stitched Scalloped and Stitched Rectangle Dies to create a frame for the card. I used patterned paper to create the floor and the wall. I used a corner punch for the card base.

Paper Nest Dolls: Love Struck Lulu - Happy Valentine's Day

In just two weeks is Valentine's Day! A quick and fun way of making cards is using digital stamps from Paper Nest Dolls. I made this Valentine's Day card using the adorable the stamp called Lovestruck Lulu. This stamp comes in both digital and red rubber. I used the digital version so that I can get the stamp the same day I order it and make it the size I needed for this card. 


I printed the stamp at 3-1/4" tall and colored it with Copic markers in the following colors:

Skin: E04, E11, E21, E00, E000
Cheeks: E93
Hair: Y28, YR23,YR21, Y21
Pink: V95, RV95, RV93, RV91
Green: YG95,YG93, E81
Silver/Gray: C5, C3, C1

  • "Burlesque" patterned paper from Scrappy Boy Stamps
  • Cut & Emboss Heirloom Frames from Stampin' Up
  • Sentiment from The Stamps of Life
  • Heart die cuts from The Stamps of Life Heart Button Dies
  • Pink and white baker's twine

The pink mat underneath the patterned paper and the sentiment are white cardstock with the edges colored with RV93 to match the colored stamp. I could not find colored cardstock to match.
